Easter

We had a lovely Easter Sunday....It started with going to church at 10:30! What a treat! However, I have found out that it doesn't matter if you have an extra 2 1/2 hours to get ready, you are always yelling at your kids/husband as you're running out the door 5 minutes later than you should be. The service was great, with wonderful music and an inspiring testimony from a fellow member. We went to an Easter egg hunt at Kevin and Brooke's, and then we went to my sister's house for the rest of the day. (It was my nephew's birthday as well as Easter.) And, for all you midwest readers, yes, the kids did go swimming about 5 PM! It was a beautiful day with quiet reflection about Christ's sacrifice for us. We've been studying the last days of Jesus before his crucifixion in our Bible study, so Easter had a special meaning for Charlie and me this year.
