Now, tell me, who wouldn't think these two girls are the cutest in the world?! I am their mother, however, and I' m a little biased. My mom and dad gave me money to spend on a camera accessory for my birthday (in September, last September!), and I finally spent it on a new lens. I am just in the beginning stages of learning how a camera works, and I am finding that it's quite scientific . It's stretching me because if you know me at all, science isn't my strength. I am so thankful for digital cameras because I just delete the photos that don't turn out (there are often many!). I do have a few that turned out, though, and I am loving my new lens. It's very short and doesn't extend out, but it lets a lot of light in, and it blurs the background behind the subject. Enjoy my first trials....the first picture of Lily and Grace is my favorite!

Lily has this thing with Grace....she rolls around with her. It sounds dangerous, but I keep a close eye on it. Usually, Lily is the one who ends up crying because Grace has a mean grip. She loves long hair! The look on Grace's face combined with the tongue sticking out is priceless!

We enjoyed our pool on Thursday afternoon, since it was almost 100 degrees. Grace sat in her Bumbo and splashed for about 30 minutes. Lily swam all over, and I think she is even getting used to the sweeper!

Look who is practicing getting up on all fours! She'll probably be crawling by the time we get back from Hawaii.
