At the beginning of December, Lily started asking me what I wanted for Christmas, and she was bugging Charlie to go shopping. This is the first year that she has shown any interest in buying presents instead of receiving them. Charlie picked her up from school early one afternoon and took her to the new Macy's in town, because Lily's heart was set on buying me lipstick! She wanted mommy to have hot pink, shiny lipstick for Christmas. After about an hour, Lily and Charlie came home, and Lily took off for my bathroom with a piece of paper. Charlie looked at me sideways and said, "We have to go back. The saleslady wanted to know what color lipsticks you liked!" I was laughing so hard I was crying. However, I told Charlie to take a few pictures for me, so above is Lily, with the MAC saleslady, picking out my lipstick, which, by the way, I love!
