We visited So Cal at the beginning of the month to attend a fabulous wedding in Laguna Beach. My parents graciously agreed to come with us so we could take the girls (I am sure it wasn't a big sacrifice, or maybe it was?!) We left Friday and visited the Aquarium in Long Beach. Fun times! Charlie is making friends with a Bat Ray on the left. The girls would have nothing to do with it! The Aquarium had a lot of hands on exhibits (even sharks!) which were fun to show the girls.

We made our way to the Hyatt in Newport Beach to meet up with Nana and Papa. The De Vries family has been staying at this hotel for 40+ years, so there's a lot of history here! I will post a picture of me as a baby in my crib at this hotel some other time....Nana's got some special connections there, so the girls were greeted with milk and cookies with a special note! They were Queens of the Hyatt that afternoon. Other friends and family had come down for the wedding, so we enjoyed a night out with them.
