Our kids get so dirty in the summertime! It's not unusual to go through 2-3 outfits a day with at least 2 baths. I used to be a germaphobe, but not so much anymore. In fact, I was thinking yesterday that I have changed quite a bit since I moved to a farm, and I've changed for the better. You would have to drag me out of the country now kicking and screaming.

Above is our precious 18 month old. She's getting so big, but in some ways is still our little baby. She has quite the vocabulary these days. Her favorite words are : mommy, daddy, Lily (She says her sister's name quite clearly, which is an accomplishment!), Bob (the cat), cow, horse, dog, mine, milk, juice, diddy (blankie), 'side (outside), bike, and a few others that I can't seem to think of right now. She gives the greatest open mouth kisses and the tightest hugs. She runs lopsided, but she rarely falls, and she'll give any other kid a run for their money on her wiggle racer. She's mellow but not afraid to tell you if you're making her mad (sometimes she hits and bites, too, but we're trying to take care of that!). Grace just rolls with whatever comes her way, and that is a

perfect fit for our family.
We played by Brooke's tack room and sandbox a few days ago. Why is it that if there is the smallest of mud puddles, a kid is drawn to it? I took the girls home and gave them a shower because the bath water would have been quite dirty, otherwise.
Anna Marie got the worst of it, I think!
Our garden is progressing quite nicely. Almost everything we planted has sprouted and is growing well. We've had beautiful weather the last few weeks and even enjoyed some rain last Friday. The fruit trees are flourishing with the water they have been getting. The biggest chore has been weeds, lately. They grow before your eyes!
